East of the coast of North Jutland is the small and charming island Læsø. Læsø offers relaxation, nature and amazing experiences. The nature is beautiful and wild with its bog and dune areas. Take a trip to Læsø Dune Plantation (Klitplantage), which shows the beautiful heath or visit Danzigmann beach with its impressive tall hill of dunes. Læsø is with its open spaces and lovely nature the perfect place for hiking, and it offers the perfect setting for a relaxed vacation filled with fresh air.

If you want to enjoy the nature in a more active way, Læsø is also a good place for an active holiday. The island has good conditions for riding or biking, where you get to se the different parts of the island. You can also be active by playing golf at Læsø Seaside Golf. In Peugeots guide over the best golf courses in Europe, this golf course is listed as the fourth best in Denmark. And when your bodies are sore from riding, biking or golfing then it is time for a trip to the local spa and wellness, where you get to be completely relaxed.

Besides the nature Læsø also has some lovely crafts, which you for example can experience at Læsø Wool House (Uldstue) or Læsø Glasswork (Glaspusteri). And when you get tired of the island life it is easy to go to the mainland. The ferry sails 3 to 7 times a day to Frederikshavn and the trip is only 90 minutes. So you can either go on a one-day trip or maybe continue your holiday in North Jutland
