The perfect match for your annual family holiday
Thorum Præstegård (prebendal house) at Limfjorden has the exposure, the sleeping accomodations and facilities to house large, small, young and old people - you can also use it to organize courses, company outings or gather a group of friends for a large party.

There's no risk of you being bored here. The house provides for all sorts of activities, and of course they're all free for use - from table tennis to Playstation, beach volley and a ropeway.

How many people can stay overnight at Præstegården?
You can fit between 26 people into Thorum Præstegård. The home is a completely restored farm house boasting a size of 460m2 including a large activity room.


Beach volley, campfire, ropeway and outdoor hot tub
Præstegården lies on a 45.000m2 plot with a lawn and beautiful, tall trees. The garden is old and remarkable with its 9 Gunnera plants known for their fast-growing, enormous leaves. The garden also has a campfire for barbeque.

- Football goal, campfire, outdoor hot tub and petanque court call for team activities.
- The beach volleyball court and the 40 metre long ropeway in the woods can provide anyone with a sweat and a chill.
- For the youngest guests there is a swing and a sand box.

Finnish barbeque house and a snug fireplace
Two recently built wooden houses are available on the plot as well. One A Finnish barbeque house housing up to 30 people for barbeque and semi-outside dining. The other a wooden house with a fireplace which also serves as a heater for the outside hot tub. During the 3-4 hours it takes to heat the water in the tub this is a nice, snug place to relax.

Close to golf fishing water and attractions
Scouting the area by bicycle or car is a good idea. The selection of attractions within an hour's drive is large - some can fill half a day, other the whole day.

Are you into golfing or sport fishing by a lake? Or does natural fishing by the beach with a good chance of trout-catching make you happy? You will find these possibilities a suitable match to meet your needs in the surrounding areas.

You can have a fun day with children in the flower- and amusement park Jesperhus, and the thrills and bats in the lime mines of Mønsted and Daugbjerg are a must-see for families with children. We also recommend the medieval atmosphere of Spøttrup Middelalder Slot (Medieval Castle) and a bite of cheese from Denmark's largest organic dairy, Thise Mejeri.

Beach life and shopping
If the weather is good: Sundsøre beach, Junget beach or Eskov beach park. City life and shopping you will find in Nykøbing Mors and Skive, in which there is also a large aquapark.

The large holiday home (Thorum Præstegård) has a lot to offer:
