Cosy and calm holiday house close to Rørvig

Nice and cosy, new and modern summerhouse, located in perhaps Denmark's best holiday home area; Odsherred. The summerhouse is located in a quiet and sunny forrest, far away from any traffic noise. The nice and small ferry port in Rørvig - where the kids love to fish crab for hours while the parents enjoy a cold beer - a short drive or bicycle ride away. The same applies to the summer town of Nykøbing-Sjælland, with many shops, pedestrian streets and cafes. And by bike you are only 10 mins away from one of Denmark's absolute best sandy beaches: Nordstrand in Nyrup Bay with Kattegatt right north.
The house is suitable for a large children's family or two couples with children. It is a year-round and newly built house with open living room and kitchen, separate TV room, three bedrooms and bathroom. Living space is 120 sqm. Around the house there are large wooden terraces where you get light and sun all day. At the front door you can also enjoy your morning coffee on a small, sheltered terrace. The garden is small and cosy. You can park at least 4-5 cars on the property outside the house.
Two bedrooms are equipped with a double bed and one with bunk bed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom likewise.
We provide bicycles at the disposal of guests. The area is excellent for cycling trips, for example to the Nordstrand, Lyngkroen (only a few minutes away), local groceryshop, Klint, Rørvig, Nykøbing-Sjælland, Skansehagen, Dybe Sø, Nakke Vig with it's rich birdlife and more.
The nice small town of Rørvig, with ferry connection to Hundested - only 50 km to Copenhagen, has a very idyllic harbor with beach, crab fishing for kids, smokeri, cafe and restaurant - and the town itself is nice with old fishing houses and thatched roofs, cafes and small shops. In Rørvig you will find several places to eat out, for example, Rørvig Kro, restaurant Rørvig-Perlen, Bøfhuset and others. The town of Nykøbing-Sjælland also has many nice cafes as well as remarkable many grocery stores; Here are eg Irma, Netto, Superbrugsen, Fakta, Lidl, Aldi and Meny. You will find many exciting small art galleries throughout Odsherred.
Every Sunday there is a flea market in Rørvig's main street. The place Vig which is 20 minutes away by car also has a flea market; every Saturday.
Nearest doctor is in Nykøbing-Sjælland: phone 7015 0700. The closest major hospital is in Holbæk, about 45 min. by car from the cottage.

There are amazingly many nice places to visit in Odsherred; Odsherred Zoo, Odsherred Summerland, Fire Truck Museum, Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century to name but a few. There are several good golf courses in the area, and the same goes for fishing: You can fish from the beaches (remember fishing license: check with the "Naturstyrelsen"!) Or in the so-called Put and Take lakes where catch is guaranteed. Or go fishing in Isefjord with the old ship Marianne-F (www.marianne-F.dk) departing from Rørvig harbor. Call mobile 4016 2318.

Of course, the summer house is handed to you clean and tidy - and we expect the guests to leave it in a similar manner. Please bring your own linens. Electricity and water are settled against the security deposit (kr 500) on departure.
