The "Stables" is a modern cottage with a 100 m2 ground floor. as well as a 2nd floor. of 35 m2. The cabin is 525 meters above sea level. at Blefjell in Flesberg municipality in Numedal, only 1.5-2 hours drive from both Oslo, Larvik or Skien. Our own family uses the cabin a lot, but it is rented out on weekends / weeks and holidays.

The "stable" consists of a 100-year-old hand-nostalgic log cabin, which has become the living room of today. This is combined with a modern and airy extension. The cabin contains porch, 5 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower and whirlpool, 2 wc and a small attic.

The lafta living room is extremely nice and cozy. It contains a large corner sofa, a smaller sitting area, wood stove, an open fireplace made of natural stone, antique furniture and a 40 "flat screen.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped. It is high and airy with open-plan gravy, and it contains a massive dining table with 12 chairs, as well as old antique farm furniture. From the dining area there are great views of the mountains and the village, and the kitchen is heated by heating cables, plus heat pump, as well as a large efficient wood burning stove.

The cottage has a total of 5 bedrooms.

Bedroom 2. Family bunk with seating for 3 people.

The cottage has a high standard with satellite TV w / many channels, DVD, radio / CD, large jacuzzi for 2 + 2, as well as a well-equipped kitchen. In the cabin there is no Wifi, but very good 4G coverage, both Telenor and NetCom. Large terrace with charcoal grill, fireplace pan, solid rustic cabin furniture, as well as climbing trees with rope, swing and ladder for the children. Good skiing opportunities around the cabin.

Machine-driven double-track ski trails close to the cabin that stretch for miles further inland. If you are lucky you may see reindeer here, as there is a small reindeer herd on Blefjell. Ski resort 3 km. away. There are many small waters, and good trout fishing on Blefjell. Good opportunities to find both mullets, blueberries and cranberries. Many beautiful bike paths and bumpy hiking trails that are very well marked.

Short way to a great newly opened bathing facility at Lampeland. There you will also find Sunday open Kiwi and Rema 1000. It is only 2 km. to Blestua, a mountain lodge with all rights. They have good and affordable home cooked food, catering, and can supply food at the lodge.

Both firewood and electricity are included in the cabin rental.
Parking space for 2-3 cars with charging facilities at the cabin wall.
Unfortunately there is no possibility of arrival or departure on Saturdays.

In these COVID-19 times we are extra careful about cleaning. We follow both FHIs advice and guidelines, and we follow the stringent requirements for landlords that Airbnb has introduced. That means in practice, good normal cleaning, as well as disinfection of all surfaces that people tend to come in contact with. In addition, there is a minimum 24 hour stay between the rental periods. There is no handshake, only hand soap. We do not charge any extra fees for these measures.

It is okay to bring a dog, but the cabin is non-smoking. There is high fire safety there, with series-connected smoke detectors in every room, as well as fireplaces. The cabin is fully heated when guests arrive. Welcome to you all.
