The neighbourhood.

Øster Hurup is a charming little village of approx. 800 local inhabitants situated right on the sea-shore of Kattegat in Northern Jutland. Øster Hurup is a family- minded holiday spot with countless activities for the whole family: Beaches, shopping, restaurants, tennis, mini-gulf, horseback riding and sub-tropical pools.
The best natural beaches are right north of town. The dunes and shallow waters are perfect for children.

The cottage.
The name of the cottage is Klokkeblomst which means bluebell or harebell. It is a lovely and extremely well equipped wooden cottage of 107 square meters, situated in the northern outskirts of Øster Hurup, but less than half a kilometre from the center. The cottage is built in 1996. It is perfect for 2 families or an extended family, as it accomodates 10 persons.
The cottage has electrical heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room.
The cottage is easily accessible with a wheel chair. Pets are allowed.

The sitting room is 48 square meters in cosy and casual Danish design leading on to an open kitchen and dining area. It opens to a large and sunny terrasse. It has a radio and tv-set with a satellite dish, as well as cd, dvd and video facilities. There is a high chair for small children.

The kitchen has an electrical cooker with oven and hood and a microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, electrical kettle and a dishwasher.

The master bathroom has a spa and a sauna, sun, washer and dryer. The second bathroom has toilet and shower.

There are 4 comfortable bedrooms with twin beds – one with an additional bunk.

Out of doors there is an out-door drying area, carport, sandbox and swings.

The rates are DKR xxxxxx weekly in weeks 1-24 and 41-53, and DKR xxxxx in weeks 25-40. To the rates is added a charge of DKR 2,50 pr KWH for electricity. There is a deposit of DKR 1000, of which DKR 600 will be charged, if cleaning is necessary.
The cottage must be vacated at noon Sunday in weeks 1-24 and 41-53, and on Saturday in weeks 25-40.
