Once Sommerferie.NU has linked leaseholder and renter, all aspects of the letting are between renter and owner of the holiday home. Sommerferie.NU accepts no responsibility for the leasing contact or trade.
For the HOLIDAY HOME OWNER
Account
As owner of a holiday home you can establish a private account with Sommerferie.NU, free of charge and/or any kind of obligation. That is, establishing an account is free. Once the private account is activated, the home owner can list an unlimited number of holiday homes, with an advertisement for each home.
Setting up a private account is done by clicking ” House administration” at http://www.sommerferie.nu. In order to establish a private account, the relevant home owner must provide a user name, a pass word, a name and an e-mail address. All personal information is treated as being confidential, and will only be available to the administrators of Sommerferie.NU. Once registration is complete, the home owner will be sent an e-mail containing the given account information (User name, password and e-mail address) after this the private account is activated. Upon opening a private account, Sommerferie.NU will provide a one-off amount of 10.000 Credits, free of charge, which is at the home owner’s free disposition.
The home owner is responsible for keeping user name and password of the private account secure, so that only the registered home owner has access to the account, and possible misuse is prevented.
Login to the private account is done through the menu point ”House administration” after which the home owner is able to input, see and edit holiday home advertisements and account information, as well as purchase Credits, and check the amount of Credits in the account. In cases of forgotten login or password, or when suspicions arise about misuse, sommerferie.NU must be contacted by e-mail (info@sommerferie.nu) or by telephone (Tel. +45 2814 5487), whereupon sommerferie.NU, having verified the relevant person as the entitled user, can issue a new password which will be sent by e-mail.
If misuse or in any other way irregular use of the private account by either home owner or by unauthorized persons is suspected, the administration of sommerferie.NU has the right to close the relevant private account without prior warning. Payment system
Payment
Prices listed are in Danish Kroner and inclusive of V.A.T. Payment for purchase with credit cards is via PBS payment service and the actual amount is drawn from the relevant account immediately after acceptance of card information and thus before delivery of the goods.
Credits
Placing an advertisement with Sommerferie.NU is free. But it is possible to purchase further exposure if the home owner would like a more prominent advertisement. Credits are the ‘currency’ used by Sommerferie.NU and all prices are therefore given in both Credits and kroner.
Purchase of Credits
Purchase of credits is done by clicking on the menu header ”Purchase” on the home owner’s private account page. This means that the home owner must be logged in at http://cms.sommerferie.nu (log in procedure as described under the Account section) in order to purchase Credits. It is only possible to purchase Credits to a maximum of 400 Kr. per transaction, the equivalent of 90,000 Credits, and the amount of Credits on any one account must not exceed 292,500 Credits, the equivalent of 1300.00 kroner. Payment of purchases can only be done by credit cards (refer to end of page to the see which cards are accepted) via PBS payment service. The purchased Credits are entered in the home owners’ private Sommerferie.NU account at acceptance of payment, that is after the home owner has keyed-in valid card information in the Pop-up table. A receipt is sent by e-mail after acceptance of payment to the private account’s e-mail address.
Similarly, in ‘House administration’ under ’my purchases’ it is possible to find receipts for actual transactions.
The home owner manages the purchased Credits through the private account and thus by means of personal user name and password. Both user name and password are confidential and personal and should therefore be kept in a securely in order to avoid misuse.
Purchase of Holiday Home Plus (SommerhusPlus) subscription
Purchase of a Holiday Home Plus subscription is done by clicking on the menu header ”Purchase” on the home owners private account page. This means that the home owner must be logged in at http://cms.sommerferie.nu (log in procedure as described under the Account section) in order to purchase a Holiday Home Plus subscription.
The purchase can be with made either the home owner’s deposited Credits or by credit card (refer to end of page to see which cards are accepted) via PBS payment service. The subscription is activated by withdrawal of Credits from the private account, or by acceptance of payment, that is after the home owner has keyed-in valid card information in the Pop-up table. A receipt is sent by e-mail after acceptance of payment to the private account’s e-mail address.
Similarly, in ‘House administration’ under ’my purchases’ it is possible to find a receipt for actual transactions. The home owner thus buys a subscription through a personal user name and password over PBS payment service. Both user name and password are confidential and personal and should therefore be kept securely in order to avoid misuse.
Misuse
Sommeferie.NU must be contacted immediately by e-mail (info@sommerferie.nu) or by telephone (Tel. +44 2814 5487) at any suspicion of misuse. By misuse of the account, for example by hackers where Credits are lost, the lost Credits are replaced by Sommerferie.NU.
Service charges
Sommerferie.NU covers all costs and expenditures concerning the handling (PBS payment service). The home owner thus pays solely for the services they purchase.
Right to cancel
If it is desired to cancel the purchase the holiday home purchase agreement, one week’s right to cancel, valid from the purchase date (date given on the receipt) is given. That is, if the purchase of a subscription is wished cancelled within a week from the purchase date, and by closure of an account likewise within one week of the purchase date, the full amount of the subscription is refunded. The home owner only has to contact Sommerferie.NU via e-mail (info@sommerferie.nu) or telephone (Tel. +45. 2814 5487). No charges are incurred at refund of the order.
Unused Credits
Credits will remain in the home owner’s account, until the Credits are used in connection with a purchase or until the private account is closed down, thereafter the home owner will receive the remaining Credits paid out in kroner. The Credits given at establishment of the private account (10,000) will be deducted. Each Credit is refunded at a value of 0,00625 kr.
