You have booked your holiday and the countdown has started to your vacation on south Zealand or Lolland-Falster. You have good reason to be excited as south Zealand and Lolland-Falster offers a wealth of fun activities for the entire family. Keep reading, as we guide you through the best family activities:

All kids love animals, so why not go on an exciting safari through Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe? Knuthenborg Safaripark is the biggest safari park in northern Europe and here you get to experience the animals up close as you drive around among them. As something new you can also visit their Limpopoland, where they have a giant water rollercoaster and other fun activities. In Zoopark South Zealand (Sydsjælland) you also get to experience exotic animals, for example their white tigers. If you like dangerous reptiles, you should visit Crocodile Zoo (Krokodille Zoo), which from May 28 get to showcase the biggest crocodile in Europe.

When the sun shines it is nice to be outside and enjoy the summer. At Geocenter Møns Klint (The Cliffs of Møn) you get to do more than just watch exhibitions. Every day during the summer holiday they offer, tree climbing and zip line rides, guided mountain bike tour and excursions out in the nature. Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can try snorkelling and see the Cliffs of Møn from another perspective. Kalvehave Maze Park (Labyrintpark) and Birkegårdens Gardens (Haver) are also lovely outdoor areas, where the kids get to be active and burn some energy. At Kragerup Gods, those with a little more daring, can get to move around in the treetops in their climbing park. It is also possible to combine your vacation with three days at the mansion, filled with fun family activities like soccer-golf and wrestling in sumo suits.

If you like excitement, then of course you should go to an amusement park as well. Bonbon Land is a sure hit with the kids. The entire summer you get to scream your lungs out on the fun rides. You can also try out the circus life in Cirkusland. Cirkusland is open from July 4 to August 9 and offers the kids a fun day in circus school. A little more relaxed activity is a visit to the Viking stronghold Trelleborg. From July 11 to July 19 the whole area comes to life, when they host a Viking festival with medieval market, Viking fights and much more.

Unfortunately there is a great chance that you will have at least one day with less good weather and then it is good with indoor activities. At the indoor water park Lalandia you get to experience Mediterranean atmosphere and warm pools, even when the weather is not so good. Their holiday centre also offers a range of indoor-activities like bowling and ice-skating. For smaller kids a trip to an indoor playground is also a sure hit. Try for example Næstved Legeland, Legejunglen Slagelse or Legejunglen Køge.

All there is left to say now is have a good trip to south Zealand and Lolland-Falster!
